Watch This Influencer Turn Completely Miserable the Exact Moment the Camera Turns Off
An under-discussed aspect of the influencer industry is that being an influencer is miserable.
If you’ve ever seen “influencing” in action, you know that it’s not quite like how the TikToks and Instagram photos make it out to be. Getting that perfect Boomerang of you and the girls clinking your glasses together could take a couple dozen attempts, and any time you spend snapping those beautiful pics on the beach for a killer grid post is time spent, well, not enjoying the beach.
I know, cry me a river with these complaints, but the fact that we’ve all grown accustomed to this idea of seeing our social media feeds populated with smiling, beautiful people, even though we know in our hearts that what they were experiencing was likely much shittier than it appears, does feel a little weird, to say the least.
Rarely, however, do you get to see that contrast between social media post and reality as starkly as you can in this video:
